Overview

Riverview Medical Center is seeking a Physiatrist/PM&R Physician to join our physician-led team located at 1 Riverview Plaza, Floor 2, Red Bank, NJ 07701

We prioritize collaboration with patients, their families, rehab staff, and hospital system teams to deliver excellent physiatric care.

Our practice is dedicated to offering the best in physical medicine, and rehabilitation services. Dr. Jorge Corzo brings an extensive range of clinical expertise, assessing each patient's needs to develop tailored treatment programs.

Services Offered:

• Orthopedic and amputee rehabilitation
• Stroke and brain injury rehabilitation
• Pain and spasticity management
• Musculoskeletal medicine

The role includes managing both inpatient and outpatient physical medicine & rehabilitation services. Candidates should have experience with evidence-based PMR practices. Fellowship training in Amputee and stroke rehabilitation is a plus.

Pain management & musculoskeletal skills should include developing multimodal treatment plans utilizing medications, and integrative therapies as appropriate.

Competency with Botox injections, EMG, and intrathecal pump management are a plus.

Position Requirements:

• MD or DO degree
• Board Certified or Board Eligible
• Current with ABPMR and NJBME licensing & certification requirements
• Completion of internship and residency training specializing in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation
• Completion of a 1- or 2-year Fellowship training is a plus.
• Successful completion of the USMLE or COMLEX-USA
• Certification or eligibility for certification by the American Board of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (ABPMR)
• Strong communication skills with patients, families, and clinical staff
• Ability to perform physiatric consultations and follow-up care
• Collaborative mindset to work with other physicians and caregivers
• Working knowledge of the Epic EMR is a plus
