Keysight's Quantum Engineering Solutions (QES) organization seeks a head for its Go to Market division. QES is responsible for producing world-leading solutions for the rapidly emerging and exciting market of quantum technologies which include quantum computing, quantum communications, and quantum sensing.

This role will be responsible for business development, product management, strategic partnerships, aligning stakeholders from sales through internal R&D to a customer centric long-term vision, and cultivating relationships for future acquisitions. The ideal candidate will have a background with software, quantum hardware and exposure to customer-facing activities and uses cases within the quantum industry.

The candidate must know how to obtain quantum industry and customer insights, identify trends and opportunities, develop impactful growth initiatives, and drive the strategic activities to increase Keysight market shares in the quantum technology ecosystem. The candidate is comfortable with challenger sales concepts, strategic positioning, and strong customer focus mentality. Finally, the work environment is in a cross-functional organization and requires partnering stakeholders to drive business results.


Responsibilities

  • Manage and motivate direct reports to be a high performing team
  • Influence and align stakeholders and peers in a matrixed organization
  • A focus on industry and customer insights and insights-to-opportunities conversions.
  • Being an industry thought leader and consultant to group and business level managers.
  • Developing and implementing strategy and initiatives to drive growth in the quantum industry segment.
  • Consolidating and managing business performance reporting and dashboard of segment orders.
  • An in-depth industry knowledge and cultivating potential external partnerships and M&A opportunities.

Qualifications

  • Bachelors or Masters in quantum, physics, electrical engineering, or related discipline
  • 5+ years relevant experience Bachelors or 3+ years relevant experience with Masters (>3 years in quantum industry is preferred).
  • Experience in sales, business development, marketing, and/or custom application development in quantum or other emerging/deep tech market.
  • Proven good business judgment and work experience within the quantum industry are strongly preferred.
  • Able to seamless transition from collaborative work within small teams to driving success as an individual contributor or a manager (whatever the business needs).
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills and goal-oriented.
