Your Role:

Baxter is looking for a Technical Analyst that, under general direction, performs advanced, specialized work of a professional nature. Utilizes skills that require technical expertise and an understanding of complex analytical procedures and systems processes, including network operating systems, the development of complex reports, network infrastructure, and databases.

What You'll Be Doing:

Oversee the functional activities within our computer-based Automation, with experience in the following:

  • AGV's, LGV's autonomous vehicles
  • Laser navigation systems, Lithium-Ion Batteries
  • ASRS (Automated Storage and Retrieval Systems)
  • VMware platform

Coordinates with systems, network and/or database administrators to implement application or system design specifications and coordinate integration across multiple platforms and technologies; maintains effective communications with users regarding network activities, problems, status, and timelines.

Troubleshoot and maintain system installations of WMS at Baxter W&D facilities.

  • Determine and maintain warehouse needs and functionality
  • Support end users
  • Diagnose issues within the WMS
  • Troubleshoot, deploy, setup and manage RF devices, printers, scanners, plotters, peripherals, and other automated equipment

Database knowledge and report writing using the following tools:

  • Microsoft SQL, Oracle 11-19
  • SAP Crystal Reports, IBM Cognos or Tableau reporting experience required.
  • Toad database tool and reporting

Implement system installations, upgrades, and enhancements of WMS at Baxter W&D facilities.

  • Report to Supply Chain Manager or Director status of issues, enhancements, WMS functionality and budget.
  • Represent the WMS team's ideas, strategies, and changes to the business and operations.
  • Coordinate change management of patches and bug fixes with the businesses.

Facilitate the analysis and optimization of W&D processes through Lean initiatives at Baxter facilities by:

  • Defining and documenting standard operating procedures.
  • Review and refine W&D performance KPI's.
  • Liaison with operational personnel on product movements, layout changes, and facility enhancements.

What You Will Bring:

  • Solid knowledge of the application development process. Strong communication skills (verbal/written/listening). Solid business knowledge. Sense of urgency with strong follow-up skills. Must be detail oriented and able to work with in a team setting.
  • Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or relevant university discipline preferred (or relevant work experience in systems).
  • MCSE/MCSA preferred
  • 2-5 Years SAP Crystal Reports/IBM Cognos/
  • 5+ Years Information Technology
  • 1-3 Years WMS experience
  • Travel/Work Environment - 25% possible travel at times
  • Warehouse environment that may include: PC work, Concrete walking, Lifting, Safety Attire

We understand compensation is an important factor as you consider the next step in your career. At Baxter, we are committed to equitable pay for all employees, and we strive to be more transparent with our pay practices. The estimated base salary for this position is $64,000.00 to $88,000.00 annually. The estimated range is meant to reflect an anticipated salary range for the position. We may pay more or less than of the anticipated range based upon market data and other factors, all of which are subject to change. Individual pay is based on upon location.
