The Neonatal Nurse Practitioner (NNP) Lead is responsible for managing a team of NNPs in a clinical practice location and leading team members in providing direct patient care by demonstrating expert clinical knowledge; ensuring compliance with quality and safety initiatives and practices; and partnering with a multidisciplinary team in meeting the clinical needs of patients and families. The NNP Lead also provides leadership and management to the clinical practice location team members and is the point of contact for any birth place, SCN/NICU, or OB concerns related to neonates or the CHCO NNP Program. The NNP Lead will provide oversite of team member performance and collaborate with the team and clinical practice site on unit specific goals and initiatives, policy/procedure/guideline consultation/development, team member education. Finally, the NNP Lead serves as a point person for team scheduling, payroll, and onboarding/orientation of team members to their clinical practice location. **In addition to this role, the Lead NNP will also fulfill the Neonatal Nurse Practitioner-NICU Job Description for all clinical time. Our Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) is a Level 4, 82-bed regional referral center for the seven-state region with a platinum-level designation for ECMO. We treat neonate, infant and pediatric patients less than 2 years old with conditions including hypoxemic respiratory failure, infections, hematological, neurological, cardiovascular, metabolic disorders, single major or multiple anomalies requiring diagnostic work-up and/or surgical intervention. We provide continuous renal replacement therapy (CRRT), renal dialysis and body cooling for neonates among many other therapies to provide the highest level of neonatal care to infants and their families. The culture in the NICU includes great teamwork and support for nurses who are learning and growing. Salary Information Annual Salary Range (Based on 40 hours worked per week): $140,287.01 to $210,430.52Hourly Salary Range: $67.45 to $101.17 Benefits Information Here, you matter.
