Please Note:

This is a full-time, short-term,temporary position - 13 weeks in duration. This position is not eligible for benefits.Salary commensurate with that of a travel assignment.

This is a one-time, 13-week assignment.Incumbents are eligible to apply for regular employment with a MaineHealth Entity following completion of assignment, if position matching skill sets is available.

To be eligible for consideration:

  • Must be separated from a MaineHealth facility for greater than 6 months.
  • A minimum of three years of acute care experience with one year critical care experience is required.

Summary:

The Surgical Technologist - Temporary role assists the surgeon and Operating Room (OR) RN during surgical procedures.

Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)

1. Education: Graduate of an accredited School of Surgical Technology required. 2. License/Certifications: Current certification by the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting required. Current BLS certification required or must obtain within 30 days of start date. Positions located in New Hampshire are required to have a New Hampshire Med Tech License or NH EMT and National Registry EMT license. 3. Experience: Previous experience required. 4.
