Responsibilities

What You'll Do

The Residuals Processing Specialist -Mail Team is responsible for mailing residual payments received from studio and payroll houses. Payments are delivered through methods that include first class mail and UDDD.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

    Run checks through Xerox Nuvera machines
    • Manage the organizing of checks directed to designated sorting trays i.e., direct deposit, hand matching and special handling
  • Run checks through Pitney Bowes machine to fold, stuff, seal and add postage for mailing
  • Perform daily maintenance on machines e.g., air blow out for dust, cleaning of filters, tightening loose parts, switching out broken or worn parts and adding sealant
  • Troubleshoot and communicate technical issues with equipment in the machine room
  • Assist with paper and envelope management
    • Stacking deliveries and loading onto machines
    • Break down boxes
  • Add postage to Pitney Bowes machines
    • Relay info to Workflow for payment
  • Other duties or special projects as assigned.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:

  • Demonstrate effective skills in the use of PC applications

Must be available and willing to work extended hours per day or per week, including weekends, as SAG-AFTRA determines is necessary to meet its business needs

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Education and/or Experience:

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Knowledge of Oracle a plus

Certificates, licenses, and/or registrations:

  • N/A

TESTING REQUIREMENTS:

  • Basic skills: spelling, math, grammar and filing - passing score: 76%
  • 10-Key test
  • Typing test 25 WPM
  • Word test (basic) - passing score: 76%
