Senior Metal Bellows continues to refine and develop welded metal bellows technology and the integration of welded metal bellows into critical aerospace, semiconductor, medical, defense, and industrial applications. What are the key responsibilities?

Essential Elements:

Proficiency in the following testing processes: Spring Rate, Linearity

Under general supervision, setup and perform standardized testing on bellows components and assemblies using appropriate test equipment to insure proper function and consistency of performance of the finished parts or products.

JOB FUNCTIONS:

Essential Elements:



  1. Achieve and maintain required Operator Authorization(s) as required.
  2. Work from drawings and other documented work instruction using knowledge of test equipment.
  3. Make standard set-ups and maintain operating conditions as prescribed.
  4. Maintain required quality and productivity levels, making appropriate equipment and tooling adjustments to comply with requirements. Troubleshoot problems and take appropriate corrective action.
  5. Test and inspect parts using a variety of mechanical measuring equipment to ensure functional compliance.
  6. Ensure quality requirements are maintained using quantitative charting techniques, including Statistical Process Control (SPC).
  7. When required, assist and/or train other team members.
  8. Basic computer knowledge to perform labor transactions, and other required functions.


What Education and Qualifications are needed for the job?



  • 1- 3 years equivalent experience
  • Basic computer knowledge to perform labor transactions, and other required functions
  • HS Diploma or equivalent
