Here is how the Midstream - Pipeline Engineering & Construction Intern role will impact our business:

As a Midstream - Pipeline Engineering & Construction Intern, you will be responsible for supporting a Team of Project Managers, Design Engineers, and Construction Managers to analyze, estimate, plan, design, procure, and construct natural gas pipeline projects within EQT's operating area of Pennsylvania, West Virginia, and Ohio. You'll have the opportunity to learn about these exciting and complex projects from a real-world, boots-on-the-ground perspective to gain invaluable experience to apply not only to your remaining education, but to carry forward to your Engineering and/or Construction career!

The Intern responsibilities include but arenot limited to:



  • Assist the Pipeline Engineering & Construction Teams through:
  • Project FEED (Front End Engineering & Design) studies
  • Design & Hydraulic Engineering
  • Construction Bid Preparation and Evaluation
  • Construction Management - project cost and schedule analysis
  • Shadowing experienced professionals is various roles, learning about the lifecycle of complex Pipeline projects.


Required Experience and Skills:



  • Pursuing a degree in Civil, Mechanical, Petroleum, Chemical or Industrial Engineering or Construction Management/Engineering
  • Completion of coursework related to construction management/engineering, materials science, civil design, process engineering, civil survey, and/or mechanical design preferred
  • Strong interest in America's Energy production and utilization
  • Advanced analytical and problem solving skill
  • Excellent communication and team work skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.); Experience with CAD software is a plus
  • Ability to work in outdoor and industrial construction environments


Selected incumbent will be placed into the position that best suits their abilities and experience level.
