Open rank non-tenure track Teaching Professor positions in Statistics

The Statistics Program in the Department of Mathematics and Statistics at Florida International University invites applicants for two open rank non-tenure track teaching professor positions in Statistics. Candidates in all areas of Statistics will be considered. These are nine-month faculty positions with a start date in August 2025. A Masters degree is required for the Assistant level, while a PhD is required for an Associate or above. Ideal candidates will also show demonstrated experience in teaching introductory statistics courses at the University Level.

Successful candidates will be expected to teach a variety of introductory statistics courses, including those for non-science majors. Teaching assignments may include teaching hybrid or fully online courses. Job responsibilities are teaching and service; these include teaching four courses (12 credits) per semester and providing service to the department, college, and university.
