All about the role:

Are you passionate about ensuring quality in every stage of production?

We are seeking a resourceful Quality Specialist (or Engineer) to join our dynamic manufacturing team and lead/coach a group of expert Quality Technicians.

In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing and enhancing our quality control processes to meet the highest standards, guaranteeing that our freezers and refrigerators consistently meet customer and regulatory expectations.

What you'll do:

  • Implement and Deploy departmental Process Control Plans.

  • Create and follow up on PFMEA and MSA.

  • Active participation on Quality System implementation (Internal Audits) within responsibility area.

  • Deploy and monitor Statistical tools and methods for process control.

  • Active participation as a team member on Electrolux internal programs (Electrolux Manufactuing System, Stop Cards, Q Card, Leader Standard Work, NPI's and others).

  • Participate on the multidisciplinary team for Corrective and Preventive Actions implementations to continuously reduce Service Call rate and Not Right First Time index.

  • Lead small/medium projects on Key Production Indicator (KPI) drivers and cost reduction Programs.

  • Lead Quality Improvement teams based on NRFT, RTY and Scrap results.

  • Identify daily issues from supplier, process and design through 4m's techniques to provide guidelines for problem solving solutions.

  • Responsible to apply all the requirements related to Electrolux Manufacturing System, ISO9001/14001/50001/Green spirit according to the position.

  • Provide mentorship and leadership to a team of Quality Technicians, guiding their development and ensuring adherence to quality protocols.

Qualifications required:

  • Associate degree with 2-3 years minimum experience on the Quality area, preferably in a manufacturing environment.

  • 4 Years Bachelor degree is preferred.

  • Critical To Quality (CTQ) dimension definition.

  • Measurement System Analysis (MSA), Statistical Process Control, X Bar, R, I-MR.

  • Problem Solving Techniques (ex: 8D, 5W, A3, DOE, 6 Sigma, Lean Methods).

Where you'll be:

This position will be based at our Food Preservation Manufacturing plant (refrigerators and freezers) in Anderson, South Carolina.
