Paramedic Mobile Occupational Health - Contingent

About the Role:

This Role is not Clinical Based! You will be travelling to different corporate Clients to perform Health Screen, Hearing Testing and more

As a Paramedic in our Mobile Occupational Health department, you will play a crucial role in delivering comprehensive healthcare services to employees at various worksites. Your expertise will be essential in assessing and treating patients in a variety of situations.

This position requires travel to off-site company locations within the Metro-Detroit area. Long-distance travel, within Michigan, is a possibility with advanced notice.

Responsibilities:


  • Conduct basic medical assessments.
  • Administer vaccinations and other preventive health services.
  • Perform drug screenings and other clinical procedures as needed.
  • Conduct hearing tests, respiratory fit testing, tb testing, etc. Training will be provided.


What we're looking for: * Qualified, dedicated Paramedics
* Dependable car: You'll occasionally need to drive your own vehicle when the company minivan isn't available.
* On-the-go work: This role is not clinic-based! You'll be traveling to different client locations to perform health screens, hearing testing, respirator testing, administer vaccines, and more.
* Willingness to travel: Within Metro Detroit and occasionally across Michigan, with some overnight stays, but you'll get the schedule a year in advance!
* Eager to learn: Open to training in skills like hearing tests, respirator fit testing, and TB testing.
* Communication & teamwork: Strong written and verbal communication skills are a must.
* Customer service: We prioritize top-notch client interactions

Qualifications:



  • High School Diploma or GED Equivalent.
  • Completion of a Paramedic program.
  • Valid State of Michigan Paramedic license in good standing.
  • Current BLS and ACLS.
  • Proven experience in pre-hospital emergency care.
  • Strong clinical assessment and decision-making skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
