The Corporate Financial Planning & Analysis organization has an exciting opportunity for a collaborative and analytically-oriented Senior Analyst with a solid business acumen, financial modeling, and accounting profile.
Favoring the analytically oriented, this role will give you substantial exposure and the opportunity to use your skills to provide financial support and guidance to stakeholders across key areas within T-Mobile Financial Services, Credit & Collections, Line of Businesses, and Marketing. In this role, you will additionally partner with several other organizations, including Marketing, Accounting, Financial Operations, and the rest of FP&A.
*This is not a remote role. This position will be located in Bellevue, WA, or Overland Park, KS. In office 3 days a week.
- Manage the preparation of Forecast/Budget and perform ongoing/ad-hoc analysis for the diverse and complex Financial Service and Bad Debt space
- Develop, improve, and maintain robust financial models for the short- and long-term forecasting of economic losses from the full range of T-Mobile's business and cash-raising activities
- Assist in processing, maintenance, and audits of data sets used in forecasting models and ad-hoc analyses
- Coordinate with operational teams in Credit, Finco, FP&A, and Marketing to set TMUS P&L budget targets and steer the business to meeting or exceeding these targets
- Work with key partners across functions to ensure that the enterprise obtains a comprehensive understanding of the impacts of business developments on economic losses and Bad Debt. Provide Leadership on and participate in cross-functional analyses
- Build dashboards in Tableau and PowerBI to help inform on business and economic drivers related to bad debt
- Construct executive-level presentations and participate in monthly/quarterly financial reviews with key stakeholders.
Required experience and educational background include:
- 4+ years of Finance / Accounting experience.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Computer Science or relevant quantitative disciplines.
- Excellent communication skills: ability to clearly present complex ideas, analyses, conclusions, and recommendations across organizational levels.
- Ability to problem solve: being able to focus on details but also understand big-picture business drivers and impacts.
- Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, SQL, VBA.
- Experience getting data from multiple Database environments (Snowflake, MS SQL Server, Oracle), competence in data visualization (Tableau or PowerBI) preferred.
- A talent for multi-tasking, prioritizing objectives, and meeting deadlines.
- Practical understanding of US GAAP Accounting
- CPA / CMA / MBA preferred but not required
- Wireless industry, Credit/ Financial Services experience a plus!

Washington Pay Range: $87,300 - $118,100
- The pay range above is the general base pay range for a successful candidate in the state listed. The successful candidate's actual pay will be based on various factors, such as work location, qualifications, and experience, so the actual starting pay may be above or below this range.

Most Corporate employees are eligible for a year-end bonus based on company and/or individual performance and which is set at a percentage of the employee's eligible earnings in the prior year. Certain positions in Customer Care are eligible for monthly bonuses based on individual and/or team performance, while Retail and Business Sales roles are eligible for monthly or quarterly sales incentives.
