Job Purpose

The Sr. Auto Accessory Marketing Sr. position project leads assigned Small Honda and Acura models responsible for planning, marketing, and sales for genuine accessories in the Sales, Engineering, Development (SED) evaluation process. The planner oversees multiple Wholesale and Retail programs largely contribute to the overall genuine accessory parts business. The position is responsible for managing programs with the supporting business partner(s) and coordinate all necessary operations.

The Sr. Accessory Marketing Specialist is required to prepare marketing plans, sales target, launch preparations for promotions, and report sales results to Field Sales. The position requires presentation to Parts, Service and Technical Divisional Executives on parts marketing and sales direction. The position also includes the responsibility for managing and creating marketing communications for internal and external customers to promote the Acura/Honda Genuine Parts programs and product promotions. The role is a key contribution to the Parts, Service and Technical Division sales revenue.

In addition to supporting the business above, this position will support some new projects that contributes to the overall PST business. One is planned to be the new Dealer Genuine Loyalty Program, preparing the business to the BEV-Era phase.

Key Accountabilities

  • On-time completion of all SED/SP/SQ related planning and presentations
  • On-time completion of all model launch tasks
  • Attainment and increase of retail PNVR through Retail program/marketing management
  • Accessory sales incentive program management
  • Targeted Marketing / ECRM Management for Accessories
  • Maintain and increase field/dealer sales (DSM/DPSM) engagement and support various platforms (iN, new dashboard, etc)


Qualifications, Experience, and Skills

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Marketing or Statistics or equivalent work experience
  • 5+ years in combination of automotive sales, parts, service, research, and marketing experience; Accessory experience a plus.
  • 5+ years of project management
  • Strong project planning, organizing and analytical skills
  • Ability to multi-task
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills (required)
  • Strong cost control for verifying project budgets
  • Process management skills such as SWOT Analysis and PDCA.
  • Data extraction and analysis skills
  • Proficiency with MS Project, Teams, Microsoft Office Suite with emphasis on PowerPoint and Excel
