Application Window Open date: November 18, 2024 Most recent review date: Monday, Jan 13, 2025 at 11:59pm (Pacific Time) Final date: Monday, May 18, 2026 at 11:59pm (Pacific Time) Position description Junior Specialist - Ramani Lab The laboratory of Dr. Biswa Ramani (Department of Pathology and Division of Neuropathology) is seeking a Junior Research Specialist to join our team, dedicated to uncovering modifiers of protein aggregation and neuronal loss across various neurodegenerative disorders, including Huntington's disease (and related disorders), frontotemporal dementia, and amyotrophic lateral sclerosis. Our research utilizes cutting-edge CRISPR-based functional genomics tools in combination with cell and animal models to uncover novel insights. We integrate these tools with flow cytometry, imaging, biochemical, transcriptomic, and proteomic approaches to understand disease mechanisms. Key responsibilities may include:
