City/State Norfolk, VA Overview Work Shift Rotating (United States of America) Job Summary Performs chest, abdominal, extremity, and spine radiological imaging studies of patients within scope of demonstrated competency under the direction of a qualified physician, to include: operation of equipment, development of films, and preparation of patient room and equipment under direct supervision of a registered Radiologic Technologist. You will also cross train into CT learning various protocols, IV contrast usage, and patient flow. Currently enrolled and have completed 2 semesters of formal education that is accredited by the ARRT. Qualifications: TS - Trade School Graduate: Radiologic Technology (Required) ARRT Registered Radiologic Technologist (RT) - Certifications - Other/National, Basic Life Support (BLS) - Certification - American Heart Association (AHA) RQI, Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist (CNMT) - Certifications - Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB) Student Skills Communication, Operation and Control, Speaking, Technology/Computer, Writing Sentara Healthcare prides itself on the diversity and inclusiveness of its close to an almost 30,000-member workforce.
