About this Position:

Quality Staff ES position is for MAP ST/PO dimensional accuracy and formability group. Ensure part dimensional accuracy and formability by establishing and leading systems to develop, implement and sustain forming processes through new model and mass production.

Responsibilities include:

• Manage dimensional/formability activities during new model launch.
• Develop a thorough understanding and apply engineering standards, spec / drawing and Honda quality systems and methods to hold accountability, prevent outflow, and ensure compliance.
• Ensure testing and data collection is progressing to guarantee on time launch with a focus on process capability.
• Evaluate collected data to provide clear path forward at next new model event.
• Perform Quality Auditing - Confirm Fixture and Equipment are in standard and ensure adherence to Operation standards.

Who we are seeking:

Required Work Experience:

• 0-6 years of experience based on education, Manufacturing experience preferred.

Required Education:

• Bachelor's degree in engineering field, related field, or relevant experience required

Desired skills:

• Experience with CMM equipment, Polyworks, Argus strain analysis.
• Knowledge of Assembly Mfg environment
• Knowledge of Statistical Process Controls
• General Quality engineering principles as it relates to problem solving and analysis.
• Project Management Skills
• Ability to work within a team environment.
• Ability to communicate clearly to multiple layers of management.

Additional Position Factors:

• Manufacturing environment where able to physically perform jobs on the assembly line. (Lifting >10lbs, walking/standing 8 hrs/day, etc)
• Flexibility to work different shifts
• Work OT as requested (<10 hours/week)
• Travel 1-4 trips/year both domestic and international
