Construction Management Intern - Summer 2025

With offices in Illinois, Wisconsin, Indiana, and Ohio, Pepper Construction is a national general contracting and construction management firm that primarily serves the private sector. Pepper Construction provides clients the experience and resources of a national company, combined with the hands-on approach of a local company.

Pepper Construction Company is looking for qualified, intelligent students with a passion for learning about the construction industry to come and experience life as a General Contractor.

You will be paired with a Project Manager and/or Superintendent on one of our construction teams. You will work directly with many aspects of project management, including but not limited to, processing submittals, take-offs, potentially preparing budgets and attending job site / owner meetings. We intend to expose you to real life situations in the field and in the office. You will also be involved in training sessions, jobsite tours and safety. You will gain hands-on experience with a quality General Contractor in the Indianapolis Area.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

• Current college student in their Sophomore, Junior or Senior year studying Construction Management or similar discipline
• Good communication skills
• Strong computer skills
• Ability to work individually and as part of a team
• Ability to multi-task
• Able to provide own transportation to and from work related activities
