The Nursing Supervisor, Consultant is a Registered Nurse who manages the delivery of nursing consultant services to individuals served and ensures that these services comply with applicable standards.

The Registered Nursing Supervisor Consultantprovides consultative services to assist people with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities to achieve their best possible health. To promote healthy lifestyles, Nursing Supervisor Consultants assist individuals with a variety of daily health-related tasks, which may include advocating with their healthcare providers for them to receive routine and preventative healthcare, presenting options that would improve the person's health to the individual and their support team.

What YOU'LL Do:



  • Responsible for hiring, training, supervising, coaching, and developing nursing consultants to achieve desired results and maximize employee engagement.
  • Supervises nursing consultant staff, including scheduling work hours, assigning duties, ensuring productivity, and evaluating performance.
  • Assist in developing, improving, and implementing Nursing Consultant services' operational systems, policies, and standard operating procedures.
  • Leads the nursing team in providing ongoing nursing assessments, planning, and monitoring of the health status of people served to promote their best possible health.
  • Ensures individuals receive routine and preventative health services based on gender, age, and specific health conditions.
  • Assists with the medication administration certification process for unlicensed caregivers of Mosaic (LLAM).
  • Conducts routine quality assurance efforts to ensure that required services are provided and documented correctly and match billing activity for Nursing Consultant services.
  • Manage and review the healthcare records of persons served to monitor pertinent issues and provide thorough documentation, including preparing related reports.
  • Provide training and leadership on assigned committees (i.e., Safety and Infection Control, new employee orientation).
  • Develops and maintains positive relationships and open communication with external stakeholders, including healthcare providers, licensing and funding entities.

Schedule:Monday-Friday 8:30am to 4:30pm

  • Bachelor of Science or Associate Degree in Nursing
  • Active Registered Nurse licensure for Delaware without restrictions
  • Supervisory Experience
  • Developmental Disabilities Nursing Association Accreditation preferred
  • A minimum of two years of general nursing experience is required
  • Additional IDD experience is preferred
  • Certified in CPR & First Aid
  • Valid driver's license
