Summary:

We have a unique, paid opportunity for a college student interested in gaining valuable, hands-on experience and making a real difference while working within the healthcare field. The intern will join a multidisciplinary project team working to develop a healthcare career pathway program targeted at college-level students. The multidisciplinary team consists of team members from the Medical Education, Workforce Development, Nursing and Allied Health, and Clinical Education (Simulation) Departments at MaineHealth.

This position will be responsible for providing administrative and project support with the project team, while assisting with event planning and logistics. This position is part-time, with flexible, hybrid scheduling, and the intern must commit to a 4-month timeframe (January through May), with the option to extend through the summer. The intern must also be available to help with the program event (all day, in-person) on April 17, 2025.

MaineHealth interns will have the exciting opportunity to work, learn, and develop their skills at the largest healthcare organization in Maine.

1. Education: Student who is currently enrolled in a two-year Associate's Degree program, Bachelor's Degree program, or graduate-level program preferred.
