Description Leidos currently has an opening for a Defense Property Accountability System (DPAS) Air Force (AF) Business Analyst. This is an exciting opportunity to use your experience helping the AF effectively manage and account for their organizational property utilizing the Defense Property Accountability System (DPAS). In this mission, we will develop processes and inventory schedules covering complete cradle-to-grave supply chain management for equipment and materiel from purchase to disposal. Business Analyst will provide operational DPAS support and business process analysis to all system transactions necessary to maintain accurate inventory records. Primary Responsibilities: The Business Analyst identifies the functional requirements, and then documents/designs the IT solution to integrate the desired feature(s). The BA's designs provide new capabilities or are used as the basis for modifying existing capabilities due to changes in customer requirements or changes in policies / regulations.
- Provides subject matter expertise and recommend process improvement for the Army regarding adherence with audit readiness guidance
- Manage the flow of Army SCRs, Help Tickets, and priority among various entities.
- Assist in planning, reviewing, analyzing, developing and delivering a wide spectrum of life cycle policy using legacy and future logistics information technology systems for support equipment and materiel
- Provides recommendations to resolve identified policy gaps and interface with other Services and Partners to leverage joint solutions, policies, and best practices.
- Support site visits to DoD locations to execute detailed coordination, knowledge transfer, limited testing, proof of principle, and hands-on support for various high-priority efforts.
Additional duties may include:
- Evaluate and analyze written reports in support of Accountability Policy - Business process and assist in preparation of the Air Force.
- Develop APSR metrics and monitor to ensure the accountability, visibility, and management of the standard equipment and Non-Standard Equipment (NS-E) throughout the equipping life cycle.
- Coordinate stakeholder meetings that conduct analysis to identify policy gaps and provide recommendations to updates based on APSR capabilities focus on improving asset accountability.
- Develop a global communication strategy on requirements to disseminate information and education across a variety of media to the AF Community.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelors' Degree with 8+ years of related experience or a Master's degree with 6+ years of related experience. Additional experience, trainings, or certifications may be considered in lieu of a degree.
- US Citizen; Currently possessing or ability to successfully obtain and maintain a DoD Secret Security Clearance upon hire.
- 6+ years Project Management or Supply Chain Management experience.
- Comprehensive understanding of property management and logistics management policies, procedures, practices and concepts affecting mission support operations at various levels of command throughout the DoD.
- Thorough and comprehensive knowledge of Joint policies, principles and/or directives. Extensive interpretation of these broad guides is required to refine or develop specific guidelines and procedures.
- DPAS experience or other logistic systems experience.

Pay Range:Pay Range $87,100.00 - $157,450.00
