HERE IS WHAT YOU WILL DO

The College/Division Senior Human Resources Officer (HRO) will be tasked with implementing various new programs for the division to include: On-boarding/Orientation Program, Recognition Program, a more robust Training & Development Program to include Supervisory Training, and a Student Success Academy Leadership Program.

Knowledge of federal and state employment law, and higher education policy and regulations relative to Human Resources.

Experience utilizing HR information systems to initiate actions and data extraction. Experience with Banner, PeopleSoft/Workday Financials and HR, or similar robust HRIS systems. Demonstrated excellence with organizational development, interpersonal, leadership skills. Demonstrated ability to work independently and engage in responsible decision-making utilizing strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Excellent, demonstrated communication skills. Ability to present to all organizational levels and group sizes. SPHR-SC, SHRM-CP or similar certification preferred.

Related HR experience in a university/ higher-education setting preferred.

Qualifications :

Minimum Hiring Qualifications:

Minimum of seven years direct experience managing and developing teams of HR professionals.

Preferred Hiring Qualifications:

Knowledge of federal and state employment law, and higher education policy and regulations relative to Human Resources.

Experience utilizing HR information systems to initiate actions and data extraction.

Experience with Banner, PeopleSoft/Workday Financials and HR, or similar robust HRIS systems.

Demonstrated excellence with organizational development, interpersonal, leadership skills.
