AHEAD is currently seeking a Compliance Specialist to help build out the compliance function and provide counseling to AHEAD's sales team and stakeholders. You will report to AHEAD's Corporate Counsel, Compliance. This is a remote role. Responsibilities Work closely with internal stakeholders as well as customers, vendors, and regulators, as necessary; Provide guidance to internal stakeholders and make recommendations for improving compliance training materials; Manage compliance-related projects for current and evolving laws and obligations; Assist in designing, implementing, and managing effective compliance programs; Assist with the preparation of compliance reports for senior management and regulatory agencies; Assist with data privacy related requests and audits, as necessary; and Monitor and assess compliance efforts to identify potential sources of risk and recommend mitigation measures, with appropriate escalations as necessary. Qualifications 2-4 years supporting compliance initiatives related to employment law, export controls, privacy, AI and/or other U.S. regulations. Knowledge of U.S. data privacy laws (HIPAA, CCPA, CPRA, TCPA) and experience with GDPR; Experience interacting with or working for regulatory agencies; Expertise in drafting and reviewing a broad range of policies; Expertise in Microsoft tools, including PowerPoint and Excel ; Project or program management experience; Strong analytical skills and verbal and written communication skills; and Excellent business judgment, attention to detail, and self-motivation.
