Machine Operator

JOB DETAILS

Base pay starts at $15.00 per hour, plus a $0.30 differential pay.

Shift: Tuesday - Friday - 12:00 pm - 10:30 pm

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

In this role, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining various industrial machinery while ensuring high-quality production standards and workplace safety.

• Operate and monitor various manufacturing equipment and machinery
• Perform regular equipment inspections and basic preventive maintenance
• Execute production assignments according to specifications and quality standards
• Monitor machine performance and make necessary adjustments
• Follow strict safety protocols and procedures
• Report equipment malfunctions or maintenance needs to supervision
• Maintain accurate production records and documentation
• Participate in workplace housekeeping and organization
• Collaborate with team members to achieve production goals
• Support cross-training initiatives and continuous improvement efforts

• Minimum of 2 years' experience in manufacturing or production environment
• Demonstrated experience operating industrial machinery and equipment
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and work instructions
• Proficiency in using various hand tools and measuring instruments
• Basic math and computer skills required
• Ability to lift up to 40pounds on a continual basis above shoulder height and below the waist
• Excellent attention to detail and quality consciousness
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to work second shift and adjust to schedule changes as needed
• Knowledge of safety procedures and quality control standards
• Experience in metal/materials industry preferred
• Demonstrated reliability and dependability
• Commitment to workplace safety and cleanliness
