Description Maine Medical Center Professional - Clinical Req #: 8800 Summary Summary: The Senior Mammography Technologist role performs diagnostic imaging exams and procedures to assist providers in the diagnosis and treatment of patients. As a Senior Technologist, this position demonstrates an advanced level of job knowledge and skills normally acquired through work experience and continuing education. Also promotes patient safety, verifies identification prior to exam, verifies patient provider(s), and assists Radiologists in sterile procedures. Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs) 1. Education: Graduate of accredited Radiologic Technology program required. 2. License/Certifications: Current Maine License in Radiologic Technology; American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) certification, with advanced certification in Mammography required. 3. Experience: One year related experience in mammography required.
