The Opportunity

Ulteig is seeking an HR Specialist who is passionate about enhancing the employee experience and optimizing HR processes. In this role, you will own and elevate our onboarding and employee lifecycle programs as part of our dynamic HR Operations team. Your work will directly contribute to Ulteig's strategic goals, supporting the attraction, engagement, and retention of our employee owners.

By creating exceptional onboarding experiences, driving process improvements, and ensuring accurate HRIS data management and compliance, you will play a pivotal role in supporting our reputation as a destination employer. You will collaborate with HR partners, cross-functional teams, and leaders to bring innovative ideas to life while fostering a culture of inclusion and excellence.

What You'll Do



  • Manage and own the end-to-end onboarding experience, including new hire and manager support, orientation program, content development, and onboarding platform management.
  • Develop and deliver training and resources to continuously improve onboarding and offboarding experiences, with a focus on process automation and efficiency.
  • Partner with managers and internal departments to create effective training plans, gathering feedback to identify and address areas for improvement.
  • Manage and support the immigration process in collaboration with legal counsel, ensuring efficient visa processing and thorough compliance documentation and tracking.
  • Ensure compliance with labor laws via audits, policy adherence, and maintain accurate HRIS data to comply with employment regulations.
  • Maintain employee records, process HRIS updates, and generate HR reports to support decision-making.
  • Drive and support the implementation of HR programs and strategic initiatives.
  • Act as the main contact for onboarding, offboarding, and immigration, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.


HR Change Leader



  • Champion initiatives and advocate for continuous improvement and process optimization.
  • Actively support efforts to foster an inclusive, diverse, and equitable workplace that enhances employee engagement and belonging.



What We Expect from You



  • Minimum of 2-4 years of professional experience in Human Resources, with a focus on onboarding, compliance, or HRIS data management.
  • Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Strong interpersonal, organizational, communication, and presentation skills.
  • High attention to detail, a drive for results, and the ability to manage confidential information.
  • Proven ability to prioritize and manage multiple assignments with competing deadlines.
  • Ability to work well independently and in a team environment.
  • Familiarity with US and Canadian employment laws; global experience a plus.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with ServiceNow platform is a plus.
  • Must have authorization to work permanently in the US.
  • Ability to travel annually for HR or company offsite events.

Additional Opportunity Details:
Target Base Compensation Range for this role is $62,500 - $84,600
* Factors that may be used to determine your actual salary include your job specific skills, education, training, job location, number of years of experience related to this role and comparison to other employees already in this role
