Position Purpose
Dartmouth invites applications for an exciting opportunity as a Training and Education Program Manager. This role is ideal for a motivated individual passionate about creating impactful and positive educational experiences across Dartmouth's campuses. As the Training and Education Program Manager, you will design, develop, and implement dynamic training programs and educational resources aimed to prevent harm and foster positive behavior. This role will be tasked with promoting EOATIX's initiatives, mission, and educating diverse campus groups, including students, staff, and faculty. By fostering collaboration with students, staff, faculty, and departments across Dartmouth, this position will support Dartmouth's commitment to creating an inclusive, supportive, compliant environment that is a leader in higher education. This position will develop, create, and implement programs, projects, and events to increase awareness about discrimination, harassment, and retaliation. Further, this position will promote awareness to educate community members about sexual and relationship violence and discrimination or harassment based on protected classes.

Description
Required Qualifications - Education and Yrs Exp Bachelors plus 3-5 years' experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
Required Qualifications - Skills, Knowledge and Abilities

  • Demonstrated experience developing innovative, engaging, and dynamic training and presentations using different modalities.
  • Motivated, self-starter eager to create and build training programs, content, and curriculums.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to present information and support training for a variety of audiences, including faculty, staff, and students.
  • Ability to individualize training or educational content based on the needs of the audience and learners.
  • Ability to develop and maintain productive, collaborative relationships and partnerships with Dartmouth partners, stakeholders, and the campus community.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and project management skills.
  • Must have the ability to manage training calendars, deadlines and priorities.
  • Fosters a climate of inclusion and equity and is sensitive to diverse perspectives and cultural norms.
  • Evidence of success working independently and collaboratively.
  • Ability to recommend and innovate ideas to organize and implement training initiatives and record management.
  • Proficiency in Google, Canva, Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's Degree.
  • Demonstrated understanding of Title VI, Title VII, and Title IX compliance and legal requirements and practice especially in a Higher Education setting.
  • Strong background in instructional design, curriculum development, and/or adult learners.
  • Previous experience in an educational setting.

Key Accountabilities


Description
Training and Education Program Development and Assessment
* Design and support delivery of engaging, interactive training sessions that address emerging needs using best practices in the field across campus in subject areas such as Title VI, Title VII, and Title IX.
* Develop, with the support of subject matter experts, comprehensive training materials for both in-person and digital training platforms to ensure accessibility and engagement for all learners.
* Leverage learning technologies and digital tools to support flexible and accessible training opportunities across various platforms.
* Conduct regular assessments to identify training needs, gather feedback, and evaluate training and education program effectiveness to continuously improve learning outcomes.
* Utilize subject matter experts' knowledge of Title VI, Title VII, Title IX, and other compliance standards to create legally compliant and best-practice training content relative to a higher education context.
* Manage current online training implementation and completion initiatives as well as digital learning content and technologies, such as LMS platforms, Zoom, and Google Suite.
