We are currently looking for a qualified SBA (Small Business Administration) Coordinator for our talented and tenured SBA Team in Coeur d'Alene, ID. This position will provide support to the SBA Manager and other personnel by performing reviews of credit memos and other documents. Verifying eligibility and compliance with SBA and Bank policies on all SBA credit and modification requests. Assignments involve work of a confidential nature and require thorough knowledge of policies, practices, procedures, and terminology of the assigned function. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Review SBA Credit Authorization / Credit Memos to ensure all requests comply with the SBA's SOP and Lender Loan Policy. Responsible for reviewing Credit Authorizations / Memos for MWB and all Glacier Bank divisions. Provide feedback and revision requests to SBA Manager and Business Banking Team.
  • Prepare SBA Eligibility and Loan Compliance Addendum to Credit Memo for loans originated through nCino.
  • Assist with preparation of SBA Proforma Balance sheet and any additional SBA required charts or eligibility documentation.
  • Order all required SBA eligibility searches, including but not limited to CAIVRS, Excluded Parties List and historic registry searches.
  • Provide guidance on SBA eligibility and underwriting to Business Banking teams within the Glacier Family of Banks.
  • Enter loan data to SBA ETRAN platform for SBA approval
  • Assist with the preparation of SBA Loan Liquidation Plans. Assist SBA Manager with preparation and submission of SBA Guaranty Universal Purchase Package and tracking of Liquidation expenses.
  • Assist with review, audit, and quality control preparation.
  • Support and back up SBA Manager as requested.
  • May conduct SBA loan file reviews to ensure policy compliance.
  • Perform a variety of other advanced support unique to the individual manager.
  • Responsible for maintaining a courteous, professional demeanor in all public contact conducting relationships in a manner that will enhance the overall marketing effort of the Bank.
  • Must comply with applicable laws and regulations, including but not limited to, the Bank Secrecy Act, the Patriot Act, and the Office of Foreign Assets Control

About You

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 2 years' experience in SBA Guaranteed Lending
  • Proficiency with Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Ability to maintain strict confidentiality
  • Strong written and oral communications skills
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail

  • Must be flexible and able to work in cooperation with other bank staff and officers.
  • Knowledge of generally accepted accounting principals

WORK ENVIRONMENT: Must be able to routinely perform work indoors in climate-controlled shared work area with moderate noise level.

Must be able to operate routine office equipment including computer terminals and keyboards, telephones, copiers, facsimiles, and calculators. Must be able to routinely perform work on computer for an average of 6-8 hours per day, when necessary. Must be able to work extended hours or travel off site whenever required or requested by management. Must be capable of regular, reliable and timely attendance. Must be capable of climbing / descending stairs in an emergency situation.

Specific lifting abilities required by this job include: Light work. The employee is constantly required to stand and walk. Exerting up to 25 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 10 pounds of force frequently, and/or a negligible amount of force constantly to move objects. If the use of arm and/or leg controls requires exertion of forces greater than that for sedentary work and the worker sits most of the time, the job is rated for light work.

Specific vision abilities required by this job include: The worker is required to have close visual acuity to perform an activity such as: preparing and analyzing data and figures; transcribing; viewing a computer terminal; extensive reading; visual inspection involving small defects, small parts, and/or operation/inspection of machines and/or using measurement devices at distances close to the eyes.
