About This Role

iRhythm is currently seeking an experienced shipping associate in our Cypress, CA (Orange County) location to support manufacturing. Our shipping department is fast paced, delivering at least 3,000 products daily to our patients.

What your schedule will look like:



  • Mondays through Fridays 7:00AM - 3:30 PM, rarely on weekends
  • Business operation is 24 hours per day, 7 days per week


Specific Job Responsibilities:



  • Follow HIPAA, ISO 13485, Joint Commission, and OSHA standards
  • Follow all work Instructions, SOPs, and safety requirements
  • Comply with iRhythm's policies, procedures, quality standards, and environmental/health/safety regulations
  • Examine outgoing orders to ensure shipment meet specifications
  • Communicate discrepancies between product and order, as needed
  • Verify accuracy of the item number to quantity and solution corrections if needed
  • Coordinate special shipping & handling requests with department and other cross functional teams
  • Prepare orders by validating address, affixing shipping labels, and packing return instructions into packed cartons or containers
  • Post weights and shipping charges, and affix postage
  • Verify accuracy of shipping notices, bill of lading, invoices, order, and other records. Solution correction, if needed.
  • Prepare bills of lading and comply with Good Documentation Practices (GDP)
  • Inform manager of any foreseeable material shortages by communicating inventory of materials and supplies to other departments (such as supply chain, production, materials)
  • Perform all warehouse responsibilities
  • Perform daily cycle count and reconciling variances of raw materials
  • Prepare all domestic and international shipments
  • Operate pallet jack


Additional Duties



  • Commit to iRhythm's quality policy to continuously improve
  • Actively demonstrate "collaboration to win" by working as one team, proactively developing relationships, and working as one team to achieve department goals and objectives
  • Maintain compliance with principles of accepted employee conduct as identified in the employee handbook and code of conduct
  • Perform any duties assigned by manager or team lead
  • Participate in year-end inventory
  • Complete all required training in a timely manner using learning management systems: Brainshark, KnowB4, Mastercontrol and any training issued by the manager
  • Aid other employees as assigned
  • Navigate programs and software: QAD, Sales Force, Splunk, Endicia, UPS Worldship and FedEx Manager.
  • Maintain cleanliness of work area and warehouse
  • Constantly push/pull/carry up to 20 pounds
  • Frequently push/pull/carry up to 30 pounds
  • Occasionally push/pull/carry up to 50 pounds


Required Education and Experience



  • High school diploma or GED
  • Outlook Email
  • Basic computer keyboarding/navigation knowledge
  • Fundamental workforce skills in computers and information processing: hardware, networks, security/privacy, application software, internet, Microsoft Access/Office
  • Digital literacy


Preferred Education and Experience



  • At least 1 year of experience

    • in a manufacturing facility
    • in a medical device company
    • in a warehouse/shipping environment
    • in an ISO registered facility


  • Any experience comlying to quality system regulations
  • Working knowledge QAD, Sales Force, Splunk, Endicia, UPS, FedEx Manager

Actual compensation may vary depending on job-related factors including knowledge, skills, experience, and work location.

Estimated Pay Range
$34,200 $37,000 USD
