Overview
In this role, you will bridge the gap between business needs and technology solutions. This position is responsible for eliciting, analyzing, and documenting business and system requirements, mapping current and future state processes, and developing a functional understanding of system configuration to support testing and validation. The role does not include post-go-live application support. Additionally, this position will contribute to the development of a Business Analysis framework, including governance standards, templates, and best practices to support the organization's maturity in business analysis. Your responsibilities will include:

- Lead the elicitation and documentation of clear, concise, and actionable business, functional, and technical requirements
- Partner with business stakeholders to analyze needs, define current and future workflows, and identify process improvement opportunities
- Document and maintain process flows using modeling tools to represent current state and propose optimized future states
- Ask thoughtful, probing questions to uncover hidden requirements and clarify ambiguous requests
- Translate business needs into high-quality deliverables such as business requirements documents, user stories, use cases, data maps, and decision trees
- Develop a foundational business analysis framework by creating standards, templates, and tools to support consistent practices across projects
- Demonstrate working knowledge of application setup and configuration to support requirement validation, test planning, and system understanding
- Develop end-user documentation, training materials, and reference guides to support smooth implementation
- Quality Assurance (QA) Testing

- Support holistic testing efforts for multiple projects and software releases, including integration, system, regression, performance and user acceptance testing
- Develop and execute test plans, cases, and scripts to ensure systems align to approved requirements
- Track quality assurance defects, working with IT staff to resolve defects, track test case results, and provides metrics on testing progress
- Ensure test results are accurate, thorough and appropriately documented
- Lead and facilitate User Acceptance Testing (UAT) meetings, ensuring alignment between end-user expectations and delivered functionality

- Actively participate in all project phases-from initiation through closing-by providing analysis support, identifying risks, escalating concerns, and ensuring business needs are clearly communicated and understood
- Act as the Subject Matter Expert (SMM) on Business Analysis practices, providing guidance, coaching, and mentorship to team members across various roles, fostering knowledge sharing, and ensuring alignment with best practices and organizational standards
- Provide feedback on IT processes and procedures to help improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the organization
- Other tasks and duties as needed to support the team and/or business
Education/Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or equivalent education or work-related experience
- Six or more years of experience as a business analyst, project manager, and/or quality assurance analyst required

- Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office products, primarily OneNote, Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Visio
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and facilitation skills across business and technical audiences
- Experience working in or alongside structured SDLC environments (Agile, Waterfall, hybrid, etc)
- Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP), Professional in Business Analysis (PMI-PBA), or similar certification preferred
