(base pay of 28.58 + .65 shift differential)

Shift:
- 2nd: 2p-10p Monday- Friday
OR
- 3rd 10p-6a Sunday-Thursday

We are currently seeking two Rewinder Operators to join our Menasha Plant. Essential to TC Transcontinental Packaging operations, the Rewinder Operator supports a variety of tasks within the Finishing Department. This position is considered a posted job within the department and outside of our normal line of progression. You will be trained on your home machine, as well as other machines and positions within the department to be a critical support person.

When your actions lead to success
  • Manufacturing experience is required with 1-3 years Rewinder Operator experience preferred
  • This job is in a manufacturing environment working on and around heavy machinery with high-speed rotating parts; continuous strobe lights may be present. Must have the ability to operate industrial power vehicles and heavy machinery
  • Flexible packaging experience preferred
  • Detail oriented and able to distinguish colors
  • Comfortable working with computers and using a ruler/measuring tape
  • Lifting up to 50 pounds, walking/standing for extended periods of time
  • Highly motivated with the ability to work with minimal supervision and handle a wide variety of responsibilities in a timely manner
  • Consistently at work and on time
  • Carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram forms
  • Ability to enforce and abide by safety regulations
A bit more about the Rewinder Operator
  • Responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining production equipment
  • Ensure the correct material is run and customer quality specifications are followed
  • Troubleshoot minor machine problems
  • Monitor quality and waste for all orders
  • Maintain good housekeeping of area
  • Support and contribute to a healthy and safe work environment by following all workplace regulations, policies, and initiatives, including reporting all first aid injuries, accidents, and workplace hazards
  • Assist in training of safe work practices and all job responsibilities for new personnel
