Compensation $90,000.00/Annual

Overview / Job Summary:

We're looking for a hands-on, industry-experienced Technical Instructor to join our team. In this role, you will play a key part in delivering practical, skills-based training in troubleshooting, technical operations, and problem-solving within the pharmaceutical manufacturing industry. Working directly with operators and front-line staff, you'll create and lead engaging, hands-on training programs that equip them with the knowledge and skills to excel in real-world environments.

Your day-to-day responsibilities will vary, but are not limited to training individuals on the following:

  • Workplace Safety - Best practices for maintaining a safe work environment, hazard prevention, and emergency procedures.
  • Manufacturing Foundations - Core principles of manufacturing processes and systems.
  • Electrical Systems - Operation, maintenance, and repair of electrical controls and components of machinery.
  • Motor Controls - Understanding motor operations, troubleshooting, and repair.
  • Precision Measuring - Accurate measurement techniques and tools used in manufacturing.
  • Mechanical Systems - Operation, maintenance, and repair of mechanical equipment.
  • Industrial Automation - Hands-on training in automation systems and controls.
  • Process Improvement - Identifying opportunities for optimization and streamlining processes.
  • Quality Assurance - Ensuring product quality and consistency through proper techniques and procedures.
  • Troubleshooting Techniques - Practical approaches to identifying and resolving equipment and system issues.
  • Equipment Maintenance and Repair - Techniques for maintaining and repairing critical machinery and systems.

The ideal candidate will have a solid background in maintaining electrical and mechanical systems in manufacturing. The position will develop and provide hands-on technical training and the ability to teach skills that operators can immediately apply on the job. They will also stay informed on industry trends and best practices while building strong relationships with clients to assess their needs and develop tailored, action-oriented training solutions throughout the entire training process.

Requirements

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or a minimum of seven years proven mechanical work experience. Professional certifications in education, organizational development, or comparable and relevant work experience preferred.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with hands-on training; highly preferred.
  • Experience in one or more of the fields below:
    • Industrial Automation
    • Mechanical Systems
    • Electrical Systems
    • Motor Controls
    • Manufacturing Foundations
  • Experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing industry.
  • Knowledge of industry-specific challenges and opportunities related to employee growth.
  • Ability to utilize various instructional methods and technologies to create an interactive and engaging learning experience.
  • Ability to build rapport with clients and understand their unique organizational culture and goals.
  • Flexibility to adapt training content to meet the specific needs and expectations of diverse client groups.
