The Director of Physical Infrastructure works in tandem with the VP of Construction Management and Facilities (VPCF) on the execution of all ongoing construction projects including managing project deadlines and deliverables. The DPI coordinates work schedules with VPCF, professional partners, vendors, branch staff, and the Facilities Team. The DPI will coordinate construction details between contractors, subcontractors, and municipalities wherein TTCU is engaged in construction and maintenance projects. The DPI will assist the VPCF with project development and timelines, project budgeting, value engineering, and job site quality control. The DPI will serve as owner representative in testing, inspection, quality control, and punch lists. The DPI will also execute construction and maintenance-related tasks at the direction of the VPCF.
The DPI will be the credit union champion regarding ongoing safety and OSHA requirements and regulations, ensuring proper workplace safety at all credit union facilities.
Supervises: Facilities Management Assistant, Facilities Maintenance Manager, and Facilities Management Supervisor
Essential Job Functions and Responsibilities
Construction budgeting and estimating. Ability to read and interpret construction documents and drawings. Organize, manage, plan, and collaborate with Facilities staff, branch staff, professional partners, vendors, construction managers, subcontractors, and other stakeholders. Work with VPCF for planning, monitoring, and supervising construction projects with goal of successful completion.
Duties include supporting VPCF with managing project resources, deliverables, and plans related to credit union construction projects. DF will assist in developing, preparing, and managing the department budget. Performs duties in compliance with regulatory requirements including, but not limited to, the Bank Secrecy Act.
Verifies that invoices and pay applications accurately reflect the work performed and/or goods delivered as stated. Assist in processing invoices for final approval. Develops and creates facility OSHA assessments and routinely inspects for OSHA small business safety compliance and overall operational efficiency. Creates budgetary cost estimates for furniture, fixtures, and equipment including lifetime warranty schedules for reliability and in alignment with TTCU standards - all to limit unnecessary losses to TTCU and to maintain a high level of quality and stewardship for the Credit Union and its members.
Minimum Qualifications Educational Requirements
Bachelor's Degree (Construction Management or Project Management emphasis preferred)

Certificates/Licenses
Must have and maintain a valid driver's license
Must have a clean driving record; an annual MVR will be pulled to ensure compliance

* Ability to interpret contracts, construction documents, schematic diagrams, plans and drawings
* Good knowledge of building systems and controls including electrical, mechanical, structural, plumbing, building envelope, as well as landscaping and grounds
* Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy

* Good knowledge with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Service Desk, and Outlook - Bluebeam, Smartsheets, Procore, and AIA a plus)
