Job Summary:

VSolvit has an immediate opening for a General Clerk III to support the Naval Surface Warfare Center (NSWC) Corona Division training office in Norco, California. These individuals will support NSWC Corona and their administrative requirements to ensure organizational effectiveness and efficiency. The ideal candidate will be able to communicate effectively with end users as well as with the team.

***This is a full-time, onsite position based in Norco, CA***
As with any position, additional expectations exist. Some of these include, but are not limited to, adhering to normal working hours, meeting deadlines, following company policies as outlined by the Employee Handbook, communicating regularly with assigned supervisor(s), staying focused on the assigned tasks, and completing other tasks as assigned.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide daily administrative and clerical support
  • Provide front desk customer support
  • Provide records management and forms management support to include inventory, destruction, file placement, training, and overall program administration and maintenance
  • Support development of training and marketing materials
  • Provide data management and database support
  • Monitor project status
  • Coordinate, consolidate, and report data calls and metrics
  • Create and maintain Standard Operating Procedures
  • Liaison and technical support during business process meetings, teleconferences, and events

Basic Qualifications:

  • U.S. Citizen.
  • High School Diploma.
  • Minimum of 1-year clerical support experience within a professional office environment
  • Work independently with minimal supervision

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Active Department of Defense (DoD) Secret security clearance required and/or the ability to reinstate one within the past 24 months
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Microsoft Access
  • A team player and possess a strong ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team
  • Strong Customer Service Skills
  • Excellent written and oral communications skills with experience interacting and supporting government clients
