Summary Sr Data Steward The Sr Data Steward is responsible for performing accurate data entry, researching data requests, resolving escalated issues, interfacing with internal and external clients, and managing the governance of the master data system. This role plays a key part in ensuring the integrity, quality, and continuous improvement of the organization's data assets. Data Entry/Management, Quality & Cleansing: Input, update, and maintain data in databases and management systems. Ensure data is accurate, organized, and easily retrievable. Responsibilities include entering, auditing, and maintaining material, customer, and other related data in the MDG system. Manage helpdesk requests and utilize data governance tools and standards to maintain high master data quality. Create and maintain customer master data within the SAP MDG workflow in collaboration with functional areas and approvers. Identify and rectify outdated, incorrect, or duplicate data entries and implement processes for maintaining data quality over time.
Travel Travel is not an essential duty of this job but may be required up to 10%. Environmental & Physical Requirements Office / Sedentary Requirements: Incumbent must be able to perform the essential functions of the job. Work is performed primarily in an office environment. Typically, requires the ability to sit for extended periods of time (66%+ each day), ability to hear telephone, ability to enter data on a computer and may require the ability to lift up to 10lbs.
