Warehouse Floor Lead - Brown Jug - 246

Position Overview:

Brown Jug is a premium retailer of wine, beer and spirits. We offer a great place to work, with a friendly atmosphere and energetic work environment. This position will work on site at the Brown Jug Warehouse at 5311 Electron Drive. As a Warehouse Floor Lead, you will provide support to management of a chain retail establishment, with a focus on delivering an exceptional customer experience, and provide support for inventory management, logistics, and overall efficiencies within the business unit.

Primary/Major Duties and Responsibilities (Essential Functions):

People Skills

• Customer Service-focused, friendly, willing to talk to all customers
• Effective verbal communication skills
• Maintain a professional appearance, demeanor, and attitude at all times

Day-to-Day Operations

• Assist Management in delegation of daily tasks and priorities
• Assist with inventory ordering, sales documentation, and delivery logistics
• Promote a work culture that makes your location an inviting place to work
• Provide guidance to Team Members while supporting Management initiatives
• Stock shelves and keep stock clean and in order
• As required, fill orders from warehouse stock, complete order receipts, and assemble orders in shipping containers
• Perform general cleaning and maintenance duties
• Other duties as assigned

Regulatory Adherence

• Ensure that OHS, LP, other regulatory requirements and procedures are implemented and adhered to
• Ensure AMCO and other government guidelines are met
• Adheres to all Brown Jug and Afognak policies, with a focus on Social Responsibility

Required Qualifications and Experience:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Minimum, 1-year experience in warehouse environment (preferred, not required)
• Basic computer skills
• Valid Driver's License (preferred, not required)
• TAPS/TIPS Certification
