We are currently seeking a DMSMS/Obsolescence Logistician to support our Crane, Indiana customer. The analyst will be required to perform the following duties: Duties: Provide Diminishing Manufacturing Sources and Material Shortages (DMSMS) support to identify and assist in mitigating obsolescence threats to airborne systems/subsystems Perform market research analysis and parts resolution for obsolete and replacement parts. Provide obsolescence research; work with government, industry, and original equipment manufacturers to verify and validate part numbers, part number availability, alternate part numbers, and national stock numbers for electronic parts and other components. Support the procurement, receipt, and storage of parts to ensure continued system supportability. Maintain a database of DMSMS information Desired Education: Highschool/ vocational school OR BS/BA degree in any field. Desired Experience: 3+ years equivalent relevant work experience. Experience using Microsoft Office tools including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams Desired Skills: Experience with Diminishing Manufacturing Sources & Material Shortages (DMSMS) and obsolescence DoD SD-22 guidebook knowledge Experience in working with Suppliers and/or Supply Chain engagement Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance.
