Position Overview:

The Treasury
Solutions Sales Officer is responsible for driving the sales of treasury
solutions to commercial clients and prospects. This role requires identifying
and addressing the unique treasury management needs of each business while
building strong referral networks through consistent training, follow-up, and
collaboration with both internal bank staff and external clients. The role
ensures seamless coordination between sales and operational teams to provide
efficient, high-quality service and product implementation.

Essential Functions:

  • Responsible for generating sales growth through targeted calling efforts, leveraging internal partner leads, and proactively developing personal external prospect pipelines.
  • Prepare and deliver presentations that effectively communicate the value of treasury solutions, utilizing proforma account analysis, cost-benefit analyses, and tailored written proposals.
  • Evaluate and assess operational aspects related to ACH Origination and Remote Deposit Capture, initiating the approval process for exposure limits, and advising underwriting on exposure reasonableness.
  • Maintain comprehensive knowledge of treasury and non-treasury product offerings across divisions to competently advise and recommend solutions to clients.
  • Collaborate with Treasury Solutions Operations and account officers to ensure regular customer outreach and maintain strong, positive client relationships.
  • Support the development and maintenance of procedures, policies, and systems that uphold the integrity of treasury solutions products and satisfy internal audit and compliance requirements.
  • Contribute to the creation of performance tracking reports to be shared with management, ensuring accurate measurement of sales and service delivery on a monthly basis.
  • Act as a primary liaison between Treasury Solutions, customers, and internal account officers to facilitate seamless service delivery and communication.
  • Provide Treasury Solutions support teams with accurate and timely documentation for the implementation and modification of treasury solutions services.
  • Lead product implementation efforts and conduct client training sessions to ensure optimal use of treasury services in coordination with Treasury Solutions Operations.
  • Facilitate ongoing training opportunities for bank personnel to enhance their familiarity and proficiency with treasury solutions products.
  • Stay informed on the latest technology developments and product trends by engaging in trade associations, conferences, and other educational opportunities.
  • Provide ad-hoc support for other departments within the bank to ensure integrated treasury solutions service offerings.
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned to support overall business objectives.
  • This position may require travel within the Bank's geographic area.


Experience & Education:

  • 3 years of bank customer contact and/or sales experience with proven success in customer service and sales growth.
  • 2 years of experience in bank operations or treasury solutions operations preferred.
  • 3-5 years of bank-specific treasury solutions sales experience preferred.
  • A four-year degree in Business Administration or Marketing, or equivalent experience is required.
  • Certified Treasury Professional (CTP) designation is strongly preferred.
  • Series 6 & 63 securities licensing preferred.

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to deliver clear and compelling presentations to small groups.
  • Demonstrated ability to work productively and jointly with peers and cross-functional teams to accomplish shared goals.
  • A strong client-centric approach, with proven experience in identifying and addressing customer needs and delivering tailored solutions.
  • Strong analytical skills to assess client needs and create financial models, cost-benefit analyses, and account analysis reports.
  • In-depth understanding of treasury management products, including ACH Origination, Remote Deposit Capture, and other commercial cash management services.
  • High proficiency with MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, with the ability to generate presentations, reports, and client proposals.
  • Comfortable presenting complex financial information in a clear and concise manner to clients and internal stakeholders.

Other Requirements:

  • Willingness to travel locally for client meetings and presentations.
  • Requires the ability to lift, carry, push, pull weights or otherwise move objects weighing as much as 10 lbs. on a regular basis and/or for extended periods of time during the workday.
  • Occasional overtime or extended hours may be required.
