Responsibilities

Position Overview

As a Social Worker/Therapist, you will play a vital role in assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating psychosocial services for our patients. This exciting position allows you to provide a comprehensive range of services, including case management and therapeutic interventions, to enhance the functioning of patients of all ages, including children, adolescents, and adults with co-occurring disorders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead Therapy Sessions: Facilitate group, individual, and family therapy sessions, leading psychoeducational groups that empower patients and their families.
  • Collaborate with Families: Communicate openly with patients and families to ensure they are actively involved in treatment decisions.
  • Coordinate Care: Work closely with outpatient providers to ensure seamless care during admission and discharge.
  • Contribute to the Team: Bring your unique clinical perspective to our interdisciplinary team, enhancing the overall treatment experience.
  • Conduct Assessments: Perform effective psychosocial and suicide risk assessments to inform treatment planning.
  • Flexibility: Be prepared to provide coverage for other social workers and therapists as needed, ensuring continuity of care.

Qualifications

What We're Looking For
  • Education: Master's degree and licensed or license-eligible mental health professional in Minnesota (LICSW, LMFT, LPCC, or LP).
  • Experience: Case management experience required; two years of previous mental health experience strongly preferred.
  • Tech-Savvy: Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience with electronic health records.
  • Team Player: Ability to communicate effectively and efficiently, especially in high-pressure situations.
