Cranberry Township, Butler County, is seeking applicants for a part-time Event Operations Assistant at the Cranberry Highlands Golf Course. Cranberry Highlands Golf Course rated as one of Pennsylvania's best municipal golf courses and provides a premiere location for events ranging from golf outings, showers, corporate events, and weddings. This position will assist the Event Operations Supervisor in all phases of the event operations, from venue promotion to event execution, with a focus in overseeing and ensuring the successful completion of events and providing efficient room presentation and change-over to maximize use of event facilities. Applicant must be flexible and willing to perform other tasks as assigned. This is a long seasonal part-time position with varying work hours based on event programing. As a long seasonal position, the expected availability for this position is March through December with evening and weekend core work hours during those months. Position Requirements: General Requirements: Ability to work evenings and weekends, work independently, perform physical labor, including an ability to push, pull, lift, and carry materials with weight up to 50 pounds on a frequent basis and greater than 50 pounds on an occasional basis. This position also requires proper cash handling and customer service skills. Required Qualifications: This position requires a High School Diploma or GED and some experience in the service industry. The successful applicant must be able to work varying hours, including evening and weekend hours. Applicants must have a valid driver's license and must possess or have ability to obtain, within three (3) months of employment RAMP Certification. Preferred Qualifications: Applicants with existing RAMP and Safe Serve Certifications and at least one (1) year of experience with event set=up and assistance preferred. Approximate Hourly Wage: $16.00-$18.00 based on experience.
