POSITION SUMMARY: The primary duty of the Chief Inspector is the direct supervision of Quality Assurance personnel and to ensure all processes and procedures as described in the firm's Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) accepted Repair Station/Quality Control Manual, FAA approved Training Program Manual, Operations Manual and ISO/AS 9110 certifications are fully complied with. Related documentation to support these activities are to be completed to meet applicable FAA and ISO/AS 9110 requirements. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

LANGUAGE ABILITY: Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or government regulations and the ability to write reports, business correspondence and procedure manuals. Must be able to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public. MATH ABILITY: Ability to apply concepts of basic math and algebra, fractions, percentages, rations, and proportions to practical situations. REASONING ABILITY: Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Must interpret a variety of instructions furnished written, oral, diagram, or schedule form. COMPUTER SKILLS: Word processing, Spreadsheets, internet software, e-mail, database software, inventory software, order processing software. CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS: Current FAA Airframe and Power Plant (A&P) license and FAA Inspection Authorization (IA) required. WORK ENVIRONMENT: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to outside weather conditions. The employee is occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts; high, precarious places; fumes or airborne particles; toxic or caustic chemicals; risk of electrical shock; explosives; and vibration. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud. PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Regularly required to walk, sit, and talk or hear, stand, walk, and reach with hands and arms. Must frequently lift and/or move up to 20 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 40 pounds. Close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
