Description

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented FOQA (Flight Operational Quality Assurance) Analyst to join our safety team in Wilmington Ohio. This individual will play a pivotal role in enhancing flight safety by analyzing flight data, identifying inconsistencies, and uncovering flight related trends. Using cutting-edge tools such as the GE EMS flight data interface and CEFA, the FOQA Analyst will work to ensure our flight operations continue to meet and exceed the highest safety standards in accordance with our SMS.




Serve as the company's primary FOQA liaison, managing interfaces with GE Aviation EMS, APM, FDW, and the ABX Safety Program. Collaborate with gatekeepers to extract and analyze data and actively contribute as a member of the ABX FOQA Monitoring Team and Steering Committee.




Provide reports and trending analysis and data for Safety Programs to identify safety trends. When required recreate events using animation programs for review and training scenarios




Support Maintenance usage of GE program and data analysis



Interface with external safety organizations such as ASIAS, CISP and MITRE



Assist Safety Program Manager with investigations and processing safety reports.

* Statistical Analysis Expertise:



  • Minimum of one year of experience using statistical analysis software to generate data-driven insights.
  • Demonstrated ability to create detailed statistical reports, visualizations, and dashboards.


* Data Management and Interpretation:



  • Proficient in data extraction, cleaning, and mining techniques using tools such as SQL, Excel, or Tableau.
  • Strong knowledge of data visualization platforms (e.g., Power BI) to communicate findings effectively.


* Analytical Skills in Safety Programs:



  • Familiarity with safety-related data analysis, preferably within Flight Operations Quality Assurance (FOQA) or a similar domain.
  • Ability to conduct trend analyses, develop predictive models, and present actionable insights.


* Technical Proficiency:



  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook) with the ability to use advanced Excel functions (e.g., pivot tables, macros, statistical formulas).
  • Experience with data visualization techniques to translate complex data into understandable trends.


* Professional and Interpersonal Skills:



  • Ability to work effectively in a professional environment with dynamic priorities and deadlines.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to collaborate with varying levels of professionals in a team-oriented setting.


* Attention to Detail and Results-Oriented:



  • Must be highly detail-oriented with a proven ability to compile data results into accurate and comprehensive trend analyses.
  • Ability to think critically and approach problem-solving in a structured and analytical manner.
