Position Type: Part Time (20 hours/week)

Your Role With Us:

As the physical therapy assistant, you will be an integral part of our multidisciplinary rehabilitation team. The physical therapy assistant is responsible for the caring delivery of evidence-based treatment in promoting maximal physical function and mobility. The physical therapist assistant will also collaborate with other health care professionals in the care of our most complex patients.

Your Background and Expertise:

  • Associate of Sciences -- Graduate of a physical therapist assistant training program approved by the Committee on Accreditation in Education of the American Physical Therapy Association.
  • Minimum of one (1) year of experience, OR clinical rotation in department specific area required.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) required after 90 Days.
  • Minimum of one (1) year of experience, OR clinical rotation in department specific area required.
  • Be a team player and have proven success applying team approach to obtain resolution to an issue.
  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills, problem solving, decision making, and organizational skills for working with the rehabilitation team and patients.
  • Ability to prioritize and adapt to change while working in high volume multidisciplinary setting.
  • Lead small groups, ability to divide attention.
  • Demonstrates competency by implementing age culturally sensitive, and developmentally appropriate treatment plans and by appropriate documentation.
