About the Job: 1. Change Management Strategy
- Manages day-to-day project work for one or more large projects and/or work streams.
- Collaborates with project leadership to identify change impacts, risks and mitigation strategies.
- Collaborate closely with stakeholders and leadership to understand organizational needs, goals, and challenges related to upcoming changes.
- Develop comprehensive OCM plans and materials that align with the project's objectives and ensure successful adoption of changes.
- Integrates OCM principles seamlessly into project activities, working collaboratively with cross-functional team members to drive cohesive and effective change management strategies.
- Executes comprehensive change management strategies that align with organizational goals and support the successful adoption of new initiates, processes and technologies.
- Lead and facilitate change impact assessments to identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to address resistance and barriers to change.
2. Stakeholder Engagement
- Identifies key stakeholders and their roles in the change process and establishes effective communication and engagement strategies.
- Establishes and maintains relationships with key stakeholders at all levels of the organization to ensure their involvement and support throughout the change journey.
- Collaborates with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and engagement throughout the change process.
- Fosters strong relationships with key stakeholders to understand their needs, address concerns, and gain support for training and procurement initiatives.
- Communicates change objectives, benefits, and progress effectively to stakeholders.
3. Change Communications
- Creates clear and compelling communication plans that convey the rationale for change, addresses employee concerns, and keeps all stakeholders informed about upcoming changes.
- Develops communication materials, presentations, messages that resonate with various audiences.
- Serves as a liaison between different departments and stakeholders to facilitate effective collaboration and smooth transition to new processes and training initiatives.
- Conducts impact assessments to understand the implications of proposed changes on training and processes.
- Develops change management tools such as communication materials, training resources, and stakeholder engagement plans.
- Monitors and evaluates the effectiveness of change management initiatives, making adjustments as necessary.
- Create compelling communication materials, including messaging, presentations, and visual aids, to articulate the benefits and rationale behind the changes to various stakeholders.
4. Change Readiness Assessment
- Foster a culture of change readiness by providing coaching and support to leaders, managers, and employees throughout the change process.
- Conducts thorough assessments to gauge the organization's readiness for change, identifying areas of resistance and opportunities for improvement.
- Designs and implements strategies to build readiness and mitigate resistance.
5. Training and Development
- Collaborates with subject matter experts and instructional designers to design and deliver effective training programs that equip employees with the skills and knowledge needed to effectively embrace the new processes or technologies.
- Conducts impact assessments to understand the implications of proposed changes on training and procurement processes and the Oracle systems.
- Develops change management tools such as communication materials, training resources, and stakeholder engagement plans.
- Monitors and evaluates the effectiveness of change management initiatives, making adjustments as necessary.
- Design and execute training plans to equip employees with the skills and knowledge needed to adapt to new processes or systems.
6. Organizational Culture
- Fosters a culture of change adaptability by promoting a growth mindset, resilience, and open communication throughout the organization.
- Actively contributes to driving continuous organizational improvements.
7. Performance Management
- Develops key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess the impact of change initiatives on organizational performance, employee satisfaction, and process efficiency.
- Analyzes data to provide insights and recommendations for improvement.
- Develops and manages stakeholder satisfaction surveys and uses the results to develop action plans with the help of the project leadership team.
- Develop and deploy measurement mechanisms to assess the effectiveness of change management initiatives and adjust strategies as needed.
8. Consultation and Collaboration
- Partners with internal departments and external consultants to align change management efforts with overall organizational strategies.
- Provides expert guidance on change management best practices to project teams and leaders.
- Supports the organization with training and tools to promote a consistent approach to change management regardless of the initiative size.
9. Other duties as assigned Other Requirements:
- This position requires knowledge and awareness of mining and construction site hazards.
- May be required occasionally to use protective gear and to take other precautions when in or near a mining/construction site.
- Ability to travel periodically, by plane or car, for project related activities.
- Must be able to sit for long periods of time.
- Ability to work in a stressful, deadline-oriented environment that requires complex, technical information and decision making.

Qualifications
Skills You'll Need: Education: Bachelor's degree in Organizational Psychology, Organizational Development, Operations Management, Communications, Human Resources, or a related field is required. Master's is desired.
Experience: Proven experience (5+ years) in a change management role, ideally within a complex organizational environment.is preferred.
Certifications: Certificate in Change Management is required. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Strong understanding of change management methodologies, tools and best practices.
- Proficiency in developing change management plans, communication strategies, risk mitigation and stakeholder management.
- Proven ability to coach and guide employees of different levels through change and transition.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams and build strong working relationships.
- Experience in leading cross-functional teams across an organization to plan, initiate, and execute complicated, multi-threaded strategic and technical projects to successful completion.
- Strong problem-solving skills and project management skills with the ability to adapt strategies in response to emerging challenges.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Ability to effectively communicate and present complex subjects to a wide variety of audiences.
- Ability to analyze complex situations, diagnose challenges, and design appropriate interventions.
- Experience with change impact assessments, stakeholder analysis, and resistance management.
- Strong project management skills, including the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
- Experience with designing and delivering training programs is desirable.
- Proficiency in data analysis and using metrics to measure change impact.
