About the Role

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Barista to join our exceptional team. In this role, you will play a vital part in delivering personalized service, upholding our commitment to excellence, and creating unforgettable moments for our guests. Whether engaging with guests, ensuring seamless operations, or contributing to our unique atmosphere, your role will be integral to our success!

What You'll Do



  • Arrives to work on time in proper uniform and ready to work.
  • Ensure our Lobby Bar and other service areas are set according to Company procedures, including inspection, and procuring of adequate supplies per business needs.
  • Requisition beverage items from the kitchen and storage.
  • Set-up Cafe for beverage service, including but not limited to, stocking cold station, display cases with appropriate food and beverage, prepping fruits and vegetables for smoothies needed for service.
  • Welcome guests as they enter the restaurant area, learn their name, and use it with every interaction thereafter.
  • Engage guests through suggestive selling and menu knowledge.
  • Receive orders and enter them into the Point of Sale (P.O.S.) system accurately and immediately.
  • Know all the details of your food and beverage menu for your guests' experience, restrictions, and allergies.
  • Communicate any special requests to support staff.
  • Prepare hot/cold beverages in accordance with established recipes as needed.
  • Deliver orders to guests in a timely manner.
  • Ensure every guest check is current and accurate before presenting it to the member or guest for payment.
  • Collect payment and obtain member or guest signature for every transaction and room number from hotel guests.
  • Assist in the creation and execution of beverage specials and featured menu items.
  • Maintain a clean and organized cafe and work area.
  • Compose requisition list for the following shift.
  • Maintain an accurate daily inventory and records showing any low stock items for ordering purposes to ensure stock is adequately maintained.
  • Ensure side work and closing procedures are completed in compliance with company standards.
  • Visually inspect all work areas, food service, and ensure they are clean and presentable to members and guests.
  • Report all dining room incidents and concerns with members, guests, or associates to Food & Beverage Management
  • Support other Food and Beverage outlets as needed/as business dictates.


Education, licenses, & certifications:



  • Required: Minimum of one (1) year of experience in same or similar positions in the Food & Beverage industry
  • Required: Food Handlers and Responsible Beverage Service Certification(s)
  • Required: High School Diploma or GED Equivalent


Essential qualifications:



  • Required: At least twenty-one (21) years of age.
  • Required: Reliable and punctual attendance.
  • Required: Excellent time-management skills; prioritizing and completing assigned job tasks effectively.
  • Required: Travel (by vehicle) for business, training, and/or development.
  • Ideal: Bi-lingual oral, speech, and writing skills in English and other languages is an asset in this position
  • Required: Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
  • Required Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to convey messages clearly and compose correspondence with correct and proper grammar.
  • Required: convey messages clearly and confidently; persuade and effect change positively.
  • Required: Capable of working effectively independently with minimal supervision

Physical Exertion: Medium work: Exerting up to 40 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 25 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 15 pounds of force constantly to move objects (for example, carts, ice, kegs, tables, chairs, and trays)
