The Opportunity
We are seeking a full-time, 40-hour Advanced Practice Provider (Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant) to support our Family Medicine office located at 150 Marketplace Blvd, Unit 9 Rochester NH 03867. Weekly schedules consist of 32 hours of patient-facing, clinical time, and 8 hours of administrative time. The APP will work on-site Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Fridays between the hours of 8:00 am and 5:00 pm. Thursdays will be this APP's dedicated remote/administrative day.
The APP will have their own panel of 1200 patients. Our office provides physical examinations, routine health screenings, and preventative care for adults. The goal is to identify and control patients' health risk factors before they become problems. We diagnose and treat acute and chronic illnesses, and promote general health, disease prevention and overall well-being. In addition to offering traditional primary care visits, this practice also offers same day sick appointments. With this model, providers work autonomously to the top of their licensure while also functioning as part of a team. This location also has a free standing lab drawing station open Monday-Friday from 6:45am - 3:00pm.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate profile is an adaptable Advanced Practice Provider who has an interest in providing patient-facing care in a small, community practice.When hiring, we look for candidates who possess not only the relevant licensure, experience, skills, and competencies, but also positive attitudes, innovative spirits, and genuine passion for the work.

Education:

  • Master's Degree in Nursing or Physician Assistant Studies required

Experience:

  • Two or more years of Advanced Practice Provider work experience preferred, particularly in a community-based ambulatory setting or primary care physician practice

Certification:

  • Certified New Hampshire Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant required upon hire
