JOB DESCRIPTION

OCCUPATION Production Lead Person

JOB SUMMARY:

Under the supervision of the Facility Manager, the Production Lead Person oversees and coordinates all the activities of employees in all departments of their designated shift.

JOB DUTIES/ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Assist and / or run all production equipment.

Ensure quality and proper packaging of product.

Preparation of 5-gallon tanks for filling purposes.

Assist in training of new employees on designated shift/s.

Cleaning of production and warehouse areas to include equipment.

Perform all facility shutdown and / or start up procedures according to specific guidelines.

Communication between all other departments and lead persons for proper coordination of employees and duty needs.

Ensure all proper documentation is completed for production runs and quality issues.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Basic mathematical and writing skills. Requires strong leadership and decision-making qualities. Must be able to follow and give directions under minimum supervision. Good Telephone etiquette and basic computer skills. Be flexible to handle multiple tasks at one time. Good communication skills. Ability to work independently and with others. Ability to take direction and have an understanding of high level quality standards. Ability to stand for prolonged periods of time. Ability to bend and twist frequently at a 40-to-45-degree angle. Ability to climb ladders and stairs up to 12 feet in height. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Ability to work at heights up to 15 feet
