Inova Health is looking for a dedicated Sr. Marketing BI Developer to join the Team. This remote role will be full-time day-shift from Monday - Friday.

The Sr. Marketing BI Developer designs data sourcing strategies, develops BI content, and manages BI assets. Collaborates with Data Administrators and Architects to ensure end-to-end BI management. Prepares and delivers user training while supporting incident resolution, software upgrades, and process improvements. Maintains applications and facilitates updates and enhancements. Communicates project and team status to operations, steering committees, executive sponsors, and stakeholders, ensuring alignment and progress on BI initiatives.

Sr. Marketing BI Developer Job Responsibilities:



  • Develops high-quality BI content to meet business needs and promotes BI best practices across the organization.
  • Supports data governance processes and ensures consistent use of BI calculations and standards.
  • Analyzes and interprets data against business requirements while capturing source data characteristics and ensuring proper data lineage and change control.
  • Designs logical data storage and management strategies across various platforms, including on-premises and cloud sources.
  • Creates, vets, and publishes data sources for BI tools such as Tableau, Crystal, and EPIC reporting products.
  • Gathers and documents requirements for data integration and visualization projects, supporting impactful and consistent visualizations.
  • Troubleshoots complex BI issues, provides resolutions, and performs additional duties as assigned.


Sr. Marketing BI Developer Additional Requirements:



  • Work Schedule: Monday - Friday; Remote
  • Education: Bachelor's degree; or Associate's degree and 2 years relevant professional experience in addition to the minimum experience required; or HS Diploma/GED and 4 years relevant professional experience in addition to the minimum experience required
  • Experience: 3 years of experience with advanced report writing using SQL, Tableau and Tableau Prep, Business Objects, Crystal Reports, Clarity report writer or similar relational database concepts with query techniques
  • Certification: Epic Cogito, Clarity, or Caboodle certification or SQL or BI Products


Sr. Marketing BI Developer Preferred Qualifications:



  • Experience working with marketing campaigns preferred
  • Experience working in an Epic healthcare environment preferred
  • Experience with Google Analytics and Adobe Experience Platform preferred


This position is eligible for remote work for candidates residing in the following states - VA, MD, DC, DE, FL, GA, NC, OH, PA, SC, TN, TX, WV.
