As a member of one of our Technology teams, you will contribute to building solutions that use natural language processing, cognitive computing, and artificial intelligence applications or the frameworks and infrastructure that support them.

Essential Job Functions*:

• Extensive programming experience in C and/or C++, and also dynamic languages (preferably Python).

• Solid understanding of operating system and hardware fundamentals.

• Good written and verbal communications skills, able to address technical and non-technical staff.

• Proactive and self-directed. Expected to read relevant technical material as needed (research papers, RFCs, etc).

• Knowledge of software development best practices (source control, build processes, CI/CD, testing, documentation, etc.).

• Excellent collaboration skills.

Preparation, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

Required:

• A minimum of 5 years experience with systems/algorithm-level programming

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, or equivalent.

• BSE or MSE with a major in Computer Science or a related field

• Excellent C++ programming skills.

• Knowledge of linux operating system fundamentals.

• Good written and verbal communications skills, able to address technical and non-technical staff.

• Proactive and self-directed.

• Excellent collaboration skills.

• Knowledge of best practices for the full software development life cycle (coding standards, source control, build processes, unit and integration testing, documentation, estimating, scheduling, etc.).

• Ability to work on complex projects in a dynamic environment.

• Strong Python programming experience.

Pluses:

• Direct experience with Machine Learning, Natural Language Processing, Automatic Speech Recognition, or related technologies.
