DESCRIPTION OF WORK

In this role, you will provide technical assistance to school districts, intermediate units, vocational technical schools, non-public schools, charter schools and community agencies regarding the development of programs under the federal Every Student Succeeds Act (ESSA). The primary focus is to oversee the Title IV-A grant program which impacts student support services, safety, and fosters the overall wellbeing of students in order for them to achieve high academic standards. Work involves developing and providing training for state conferences and workshops for teachers, administrators, counselors, parent groups, service providers and others involved in the development and implementation of a variety of educational programs. You will have the opportunity to provide consultation and technical assistance services to local public and non-public school entities, including intermediate units, local government and community agencies in the development, maintenance and evaluation of programs for students in public and non-public schools. - Full-time employment.
- Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 60-minute lunch.
- Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time. Telework four days per week, In-Office one day per week (Mondays). In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Harrisburg.
- Salary: New hires to the commonwealth will start at the minimum salary rate.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY

QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
- Four years of professional experience in the field of education; or
- Any equivalent combination of experience.
Other Requirements:
