Athletics Study Hall Monitor Requisition ID: 2024-8362 # of Openings: 1 Location: US-UT-Logan Category: Other Position Type: Non-benefited (hourly) Part-Time Job Classification: Non-Benefited College: Athletics Department: Student Athlete Services Advertised Salary: $10.00-$15.00 per hour Overview The Department of Intercollegiate Athletics at Utah State University seeks an individual to oversee and monitor evening student-athlete study hall for the Fall, 2024 and beyond. The Monitor will be responsible for the following: Oversee the Study Center on specified days of the week which may include Sunday from 5:00 PM to approximately 8:00 PM as well as Monday through Thursday from 5:00 PM to approximately 8:00 PM. Responsibilities Assure student-athletes are working on tasks, assignments etc.; Direct student-athletes with tutoring and mentoring appointments as necessary; Monitor activity in computer lab; Keep talking, noise, socializing among students-athletes to a minimum; Dismiss student-athletes from the facility as needed; Communicate regularly and effectively with Study Hall Supervisor and others as directed; Document issues and warnings appropriately.
